Top Destinations and Tour Companies For Party Tours

Patry Travel Destinations
By FOMO GIrl
Party tours are the new "in" thing among teens in Europe. It's like a rite of passage every teenager goes through before moving on to the "20s" and life as an adult. London, Berlin and Paris are now old-hat for youngsters looking for a summer holiday destination with a sizzling night-life and clubs where the party never stops. The new holiday capitals of Europe are islands with brilliant weather and warm waters.

The beautiful beaches and endless rows of night clubs and bars on these islands are filled with a crush of bodies from all over the continent and beyond. Think about Spanish hotspots like San Antonio on the Island of Ibiza, or Magaluf on Mallorca. Playa de las Americas on Tenerife is another of Spain's sparkling gems that attracts hordes looking for a good time.

It's no surprise that Greece has a few sizzlers like Malia on Crete, Kavos on Corfu, and Laganas on Zante.

Other great spots with a happening nightlife in Greece include Faliraki on Rhodes, and Kardamena on Kos. Sunny Beach in Bulgaria is quickly turning into a clubbing paradise, and so is Ayia Napa in Cyprus.

It's hard to say what makes a handful of islands and cities so special that they attract hundreds of thousands of teens and twentys during the summer like migrating birds. It's not just the geography or climate, because virtually identical places nearby are ignored by this new migratory species of party animals. It's like a giant meetup that everyone has been invited to for the summer, and that's where all the action is going to be.

As a matter of fact, it's such a big deal now that travel and tourism companies now offer specially designed group tours. For example, Thomson Holidays has a program called 2wentys holidays. It combines great group deals with the hottest summer destinations for teens who are intent on partying non-stop for at least a week.

Club 18-30 is a similar offering from Thomas Cook. This division alone sends more than 100,000 young men and women to the aforementioned top party hotspots in Europe. The stunning thing is that the average age of these Club 18-30 travelers is 19, which says a lot about what these tours offer.

Another smaller operation is run by a UK based company called Mainstage Travel, who run Takeover Holidays.  They run operations in Magaluf, Zante, Ayia Napa and Malia where they pretty much do a "takeover" of the place!

Sun, sand and sea are necessary ingredients. But it's the irresistible appeal of unlimited booze and no-limits fun with complete strangers that makes tour programs like 2wentys and Club 18-30 such a big deal. The simple fact is that teenagers and young twentys want a holiday where they can cut loose, and there's no better place for it than a foreign island where there are no rules, parents or teachers.

The travel representatives on these party tours are seasoned pros who know exactly where to go and how to get all-night parties started. Everyone's a teenager and there's no one around to tell them what to do (or not). That's what these tour companies do - they bring all the bodies together in the right place where there's plenty of booze and clubs. Somebody kicks it off, and then the fun never stops.

The teen and early twentys are easily the biggest sufferers of travel FOMO on the planet. FOMO Travel has a dedicated section of its website to Party Tours.  There you will find heaps of cool information on some of the great party tour operators across the globe.

10 Special Things To Note Before You Take Off On Your Next Vacation

Extra Special Travel Tips
By FOMO Girl
If you are thinking that you want to travel in the near future but aren't sure what steps to take then you're in the right place. When it comes to traveling you want to make sure you know everything there is to know and apply that information accordingly, knowledge like that here in this article should help you do that.

If you are planning a trip abroad, make sure you get your passport well in advance. Many people underestimate how long it takes to get a passport for the first time and are left scrambling and paying extra fees to get it expedited. Plan for your passport to take six to eight weeks to arrive, especially in peak travel season.

Remain vigilant while you are traveling. It is no secret that tourists are often the mark of pickpockets and con artists. Whether you are vacationing or traveling on business, remain vigilant. Pay attention to your surroundings. Being cautious and wary of others who might wrong you is the very best defense against them.

When traveling overseas, keep a note of all important information. This should include the address, phone number and website of your consulate or embassy in the country in which you are traveling. If you get into any trouble while out of your home country, this is the first place you need to contact. They will be able to help you with any problems you may encounter.

Ask a friend or family member to drive you to the airport. You can save on cab fare and long term parking fees. Many people will be happy to perform this favor for you, especially if you are willing to reciprocate later on down the road, when they are taking a vacation.

The travel industry has grown to be a large percentage of our economy with motels and hotels increasing in great numbers. Even though there is less travel taking place recently, most larger chains are still doing well. Some smaller independent businesses are suffering, especially in the off season.

When staying at a high-end domestic hotel, bring along your own A/V cable for your laptop. Most hotel rooms at nicer hotels offer free in-room Wi-Fi and a large HDTV, but will then charge a premium for in-room movies. Having your own A/V cable gives you access to your own selection of downloaded movies or an online account.

Look up reviews about hotels you plan to visit, but do not necessarily trust everything that is written. Everyone will have a different experience, so be forgiving of some negative reviews and do not be blinded by overly positive reviews. When trying to find a hotel, one suggestion is to call the hotel and ask the clerk a few simple questions. His customer service skills will often indicate the quality of the hotel.

Pet friendly travel can be very rewarding if you plan ahead. Make sure you know if your pet travels well before subjecting them to lengthy car rides. The Internet can help you find pet friendly accommodation and destinations that can make vacationing with your pet fun and inexpensive. Gone are the days of leaving your furry friend at home.

Taking a long road trip can be fun, but getting lost is not. Before starting your trip, stop by your local market and buy yourself an affordable road map. While a GPS device is great, a map will always be accurate and is much safer on the road. This will ensure that you arrive at your destination in a perfect frame of mind.

Preparing a road trip entertainment kit for children can help make sure your family vacation is a dream instead of a nightmare. There is no better way to see the country than a road trip. However, it is essential that your children stay entertained in order to combat the boredom of a long car ride. Pack travel versions of popular games, cards, and older children may enjoy a journal in which to document their experiences.

If you need a rental car while on vacation consider renting an eco-friendly car. Zipcar and Flexcar are both "green" car-sharing programs that offer travelers low fees and convenient drop off and pick up. You will be able to reduce car emissions by renting the smallest car you can or a hybrid car.

With the knowledge you just obtained in this article you should already feel like you have an idea of the steps you want to take towards traveling successfully. Remember this article is only beneficial to you if you actually apply it, if you do that then your traveling should come with ease.

Adventure Travel Tour Operators
By FOMO Girl
Adventure travel tours are one of the latest trends in the travel industry. Sought after by those who love the thrill of being in an unfamiliar environment, these types of holiday experiences are typically characterized by travelers being involved in either a physical activity, a cultural interaction, or being immersed in nature.

There are different types of adventure tours to suit the tastes of every traveler. Some are designed to put visitors into direct contact with people from another culture, while others concentrate more on the physical surroundings like "jungle tourism" for instance. There may be a lengthy excursion across several countries, called "overland" tourism. Special travel arrangements can even be made for those with disabilities.

This kind of vacation is very attractive to those who enjoy the outdoors and/or learning about ways of life other than their own. People who practice various risky activities often choose to embark on such an experience. Those who prefer the comfort of a hotel room or resort with all possible amenities may not be comfortable on such an adventure.

This is a popular experience for those who love the thrill of seeing and doing something different that it's offered across every continent. One can explore over 100 different exciting countries with lots of wondrous cultural and natural sites that will give travelers memories to last a lifetime.

A huge assortment of activities are available to choose from in all of these amazing locations both on the land, sea, and in the air. There are also fun things to do in every season. Examples of some of the adventures offered include exploring the desert, safariing through the wilds of a jungle, hang-gliding over a canyon, or visiting an indigenous village.

Since there is a growing demand for this type of tourism, the number of companies which provide adventure travel has increased substantially. These companies can match up clients with just the right tour package to meet their desires. Most of them are able to even set up customized itineraries specific to the interests of the particular travelers so they are getting exactly what they want.

The company will arrange all details of the journey for its clients which makes it much easier for them since these professionals are highly familiar with all the in and outs of the business and usually have firsthand knowledge with many of the destinations including all of the accommodations, points of interest, and activities which are available there. They take into consideration the size of the group traveling, and the style of tour wanted, and give the customer a list of choices so the end result is a tailor-made holiday that meets his or her expectations to a T.

All kinds of group sizes can book an adventure tour with these dedicated travel pros; school groups, private groups such as friends, families with kids, honeymooners, and even single individuals. The client can select the preferred departure date, airline, type of accommodation, and other specifics such as tour guides on location, and modes of transportation. If travelers wish to embark on adventure travel tours that take in several different countries, this too can most often be arranged by the tour company.

18-35 Travel has a great new section of their website dedicated to Adventure Travel and adventure travel tour operators.  You should check it out in the first instance if you're planning on getting off the beaten track on an adventure tour anywhere across the globe.

9 Great Ways To Make Your Next Flight So Much More Comfortable

Tips for Flight Comfort
By FOMO Girl
It is a well-known fact that traveling is usually a fun and relaxing experience. However, flying is not always.  There are tips that you can follow that will make the quality of your flight experience even better. The following article will explain what some of those tips are. Some of the following information may even surprise you.

Firstly, get to the airport early to get a good seat choice. Most airlines ignore seat selections made when purchasing your ticket. When you get to the counter to check-in for your flight you can request the seat you want without too much hassle. This also helps you to be seated next to people you are traveling with.

Take your own travel items on the flight. This includes a pillow, blanket, entertainment device and headphones. Bringing these items allows you to be self-sufficient rather than being forced to rely on the airline for your needs. Also consider taking your own food. Airline food prices can be reasonable, but they don't have a very good selection.  A useful item to pack for your flight, inside your carry-on bag, is a fleece blanket with sleeves. It can keep you warm on a cool plane, while still allowing you to hold your book or magazine. It can also be rolled up and used as a travel pillow.

You should always bring something that will keep you occupied on a flight. A simple entertainer is a pen and paper. You can play games, write poems, draw little sketches, anything you can imagine. This will keep your mind focused so you are not concerned about how much longer the flight will be.

When you travel make sure you take a travel-size bottle of Febreeze or similar product in your handbag. The person who sat in the seat of the plane, bus, or train before you may not have had time to shower before sitting down for a long flight. Avoid spending your trip smelling the previous passenger's body odor by spraying your seat with Febreeze.

When traveling by plane, make sure to wear shoes that are easy to remove. You will be required to remove your shoes to go through security, so wearing slip-on or Velcro shoes will allow you to remove them quickly. Once they come out of the scanner, you will be able to quickly replace them and be on your way.

When traveling by air, move the in-flight magazine and the SkyMall catalog from the seat pocket in front of you to the overhead compartment. Although it won't free up a lot of space, every little bit counts. This simple adjustment can add some legroom to your journey and help you be more comfortable on your flight.

To avoid having to talk to your seatmate on a long flight, wear headphones, even if you don't feel like listening to music. The headphones will indicate to your seatmate that you are busy and unavailable to chat, which will allow you to relax or get some work done without being bothered.

If you have a fear of flying and need a drink to help you relax on the plane, always make sure that you add two drinks of water to that one alcoholic beverage. The worst thing you can do is drink too much on a plane and get sick or dehydrated.

And last, but certainly not least, you always want to make sure there is a barf bag accessible to you. People can become nauseous and throw up at the drop of a dime on an airplane. Even if you are not feeling ill, you never know how the person sitting next to you is going to react to the turbulence.

In conclusion, there are many tips that can easily be followed to optimize your flying experience. Just remember, vacations are about fun, so first and foremost, relax and enjoy yourself the next time you have to fly somewhere!

8 Awesome Things To Know When Packing For Your Next Adventure

Travel Packing Tips
By FOMO Girl
Traveling can be an exciting time, but getting ready for the big vacation can be stressful. With so many items to remember to pack it's easy to forget things. The following article will give you some great advice about packing for your trip, and help to make it a more pleasant experience.

Pack your bags several days ahead of leaving for your trip. By doing this you can continue to think about things you want to take with you for an extended amount of time, keeping yourself from feeling so rushed and having to worry about forgetting something important or necessary.

When traveling, it is important to remember to pack only what you need. This rule is most applicable to trips by air, as luggage fees are much higher now than they previously were. Most airports will sell anything you might not have room for and major cities should as well.

Challenge yourself to pack only one bag. The more bags you have, the more weighed down you will be making it harder to move from one location to the next. A great way to meet this challenge is to map out your clothing needs prior to packing, and then consider ways to mix and match clothing to do double and even triple duty.

Pack your luggage in such a way that it can be easily carried, even for fairly long distances. You'll be walking with your luggage more often than you might think. A lighter bag will make your trip easier, safer and much more fun for you than if you are lugging a heavy case.

Use organization methods to reduce the amount of luggage that you need to take with you. Shoes take up a lot of space in your luggage. Use them to tuck small things like socks in them and it will save you some room in your luggage. Simple things like this will allow you to fit more into your one piece of luggage.

For us girls, to simplify the packing process, try to pack clothing in only one or two colors. For example, you could pack only blue and khaki skirts and pants and only shirts that are shades of blue and khaki. This technique ensures that everything you pack coordinates with everything else, so you will never have a problem finding something to wear on your trip.

If you are traveling to the beach or staying at a hotel with a pool, pack what you need in your beach bag. It can sometimes be difficult to sort through everything you have packed. To save time, pack your swimsuit, sunscreen, and anything else you might need for the beach or pool in the beach bag.

One last important tip, don't bring extra valuables that you don't need. If you are bringing your valuables on a trip, there is more of a chance that they will get lost or stolen.

As stated at the beginning of the article, packing for a vacation can be a stressful time. The last thing you want to stress out about is forgetting a toothbrush while getting ready for your trip. After reading this article, you should have some great ideas to help make packing for your trip easier and even a little fun.

How is your travel FOMO coming along?  You should nip over to FOMO Travel and find some cures for it.  After all, you do not want to miss out!
